What is the difference between RGB and CMYK and why can’t you exactly match my monitor?
RGB refers to the primary colors of light, Red, Green and Blue, that are used
in monitors, television screens, digital cameras and scanners. CMYK refers to the primary
colors of pigment: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. These are the inks used on the press
in "4-color process printing", commonly referred to as "full color printing".
The combination of RGB light creates white, while the combination of CMYK inks
creates black. Therefore, it is physically impossible for the printing press to exactly reproduce
colors as we see them on our monitors.
Many programs have the capability to convert the layout/images from the RGB color
space to the CMYK color space. We request that you convert your colors from RGB to CMYK if
your tools allow you to. By doing it yourself, you have maximum control over the results.
You may notice a shift in color when converting from RGB to CMYK. If you do not like the
appearance in CMYK, we recommend that you make adjustments while working in CMYK (usually
lightening). Generally, you should specify CMYK color builds that look a little lighter than
you want, since the dots of ink "fatten up" on press, giving you more pigment on
paper than you see on your monitor. Be especially careful to keep backgrounds light if there
is black or dark colored text over it, so that the text remains readable.

Do I need my own bulk mail permit to mail?
No, we have our own bulk mail permit account and number that we maintain and can print on your piece. This is helpful if you do not want to pay the initial permit application fee, and the annual account fee to keep your account active.
How do I pay for the postage if I use your permit account? Once we have determined your estimated postage amount due, a postage invoice will be sent to you payable upon receipt via check payable to Printing Control. Payment must be received prior to mailing drop date.
What if I already have my own bulk mail permit or want to obtain one?
That's great, we can print your permit number on your piece, and once we've calculated your postage we will let you know so that you can fund your account.
Check out the USPS website for more information
When do you need my mailing list?
72 hours prior to your mail drop date. The sooner we recieve the list, the sooner we can determine your postage, and/or inform you of problems with the data.
What format should the mailing list be in? Preferably Excel 2003, or 2007, Comma Seperated Value (.CSV) or a delimited text file format.

Can you purchase a mailing list for me?
