This spring we're proud to announce our installation of a 640 Heidelberg CD press with an extended delivery.

This is the first large press installation since 1997 for PC.  The 640X will replace a 28” Heidelberg, which had exceeded its useful life, and will allow us to double our capacity for client orders.  The CD press permits us to efficiently produce on a broader range of stock, from very lightweight to thick packaging material.  The extended delivery houses dryers that dry inks on uncoated papers far more quickly than standard 640 presses.  From big bright colors to large dense solids, this press will allow us to turn projects over and back them up immediately, resulting in faster press ok’s for clients.

If you look around town, it would be difficult to identify another commercial printer that has the financial backing and customer volume to add this type of iron to the region.  It demonstrates the confidence our parent company has in PC, not to mention the financial strength of CGX. This press positions us to be in the forefront of recovery in the printing community as our services expand and marketing budgets grow in the coming year.
